Dear Fellow Breeders!
Dear Guests!
I warmly welcome you to the 32nd Racing Pigeon-Olympiad in Poznań. The Polish Association of Racing Pigeon Breeders for the third time has the privilege to host the event that is the meeting and the biggest feast of all racing pigeon breeders who are members of the Federation Colombophile Internationale. Two previous Olympiads held in Katowice in 1969 and 1989 were significant events in the history of our Association and international racing pigeon breeding. We hope that such an appraisal will be also given to this Olympiad, which will be held between 27-30.01.2011 in the magnificent facilities of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie (Poznan International Fair) in the capital of Wielkopolska region. Tens of thousands of breeders from all around the world, great leaders and members of the association, led by the President of FCI Jose Tereso, will participate in the Olympiad. This event is particularly important to the Polish Association of Racing Pigeon Breeders that already has 46,000 members and enters the 21st century as the biggest European association of active racing pigeon breeders. I give my congratulations on the breeding success to the owners of the pigeons representing individual countries, the activists and the union authorities of sister associations. I wish the best impressions and experiences in our country to all breeders, guests and exhibitors that have arrived at the 32nd Pigeon-Olympiad in Poznan. And in the long run, I wish you all prosperity and many more great breeding successes!
Jan Kawaler
The President of the Polish Association of Racing Pigeon Breeders
